Too long I didn't post anything about this great photographer. More than 3 1/2 yrs ago (here). Not that I find his technics particularly novative (sometimes too much effects on the images) but I share his fascination for the truth of the skin, the details of the flesh, the incredible variety of body shapes (only females here, but we're still in a rather dominant masculine vision in photography), whatever the age and the beauty norms. So much humanity in these shots, and sensuality too. No discussion, it's a great piece of work. In this post I chose to stay rather homogenous in the styles (colour specially) and omitted some other great shots he did, but you can see more on his blog here. I collected this selection on it, and more specifically images posted in the last 3 years.

Ronald Puhle is German, lives in Berlin and is born in 1963. He covers a lot of styles and is not, as most of "artists", stuck to one an only. So, it's normal that I had to make his choice among the large amount of images he produces and finds one of these styles more in agreement with my own tastes. Here's a selection of his pictures I like. But I encourage everyone to click here or there to explore more of his visual universe. Maybe your choice will be different. I love the humanity flavor of the ones above.

I got not much to add to my previous post (2 years ago) about this American photographer (here). Most of the present selection seems to consist of new material and she maintains her high level of quality. The Francesca Woodman influence is still there but it's less haunted by death and more nourrished by life and pleasures of the body. On the photographic level, some images stay imprinted in our memory a long time, the reason I feel the need to add some black and white picture to the previous post. You can see her flickr site here. There's full of more. I think she's the model on the last 4 pictures.
